Business Address

This page allow a Loan Performer user to enter a client's contacts (postal and/or telephone) and physical location.

Loan Performer uses this information in the creation of Loan Contracts, Notification Letters on arrears and numerous other reports.

How to enter a Business Address.

To enter to enter a Business Address go to Clients/ Business clients/Address and the following screen appear:

• Branch: This is the code of a branch of your organization to which the business client belongs. (If there are no branches, it is the code of your organization). The branch codes are not modifiable and are assigned to the organization at licensing. . Unless you have a corporate license or a license for a centralized administration of data (data from all branches maintained in one database), your choice will be limited to only one branch code.
• Reg. Code (Registration Code): The program automatically assigns a new registration code to every new client.
• Approved by: The name of the person logged in will appear in this field also as the approving person e.g. "Performer".
• Approval date: The date the client was approved will appear here e.g. "01/01/2020".
• Send to word: Click the "Send to Word" button and select the directory to where the word document containing the client registration details will be saved. This path should have been created under System/Configuration/Register Part 2.
• Name: Enter the name of the business client here e.g "Jicca Enterprises"
• Registration Date: This is the date when you register someone as your client e.g 01/01/2020". It is a compulsory field, and the date entered here should precede any transactions with the client.
• Reference Number This could be a number or a code, used in your administration to identify the client in addition to the registration code given by Loan Performer (e.g., client's file number). You can successfully utilize this field if the numbering you use does not match the way Loan Performer does it

• Statistics Number: This is just a number that you may use for your statistics. The width and the format of this number can be set at the menu System/Configuration/Register Part 1 and it can be made unique and/or compulsory at System/Configuration/Register Part 2.

• Client Exists: When entering a new client, you can always check if the same person or a client with similar characteristics does not already exist in your database.
• Retrieve: Click on the Retrieve command button and choose the client for whom you wish to edit the data
• Click on the Save button to save the business client and a fees registration screen like one below appears:
• Mail Address: Enter the address and physical location of the business.
• Mail address: This is the postal (mail) address of the business client e.g "P.O.box 7463"
• City (mail): Name of the name of the city or town the business is resident (or any other locality) e.g "Kampala" for the example above.
• Physical Address: Physical location of the business/institution e.g "Plot 52-54" Kampala Road.
• Area Name and Code: If in the Support Files/Geographical Areas you have defined administrative units of your operational area (e.g., districts, counties, sub-counties and parishes), just click on the button “Choose” and select the area to which the business client belongs.

If in the Support Files/Geographical Areas you have marked the checkbox of the option “User can pick from lowest level only”, then on the "Address" page you will see and be able to choose only the lowest administrative units (e.g., parishes).

Indicating Area Names and Codes will enable you to produce reports on your activities in different localities of your operational area.

• Bank: Further you can enter Business Client's bank account details. The bank and branch information should be previously specified at System/Banks menu.

Select the bank name and the branch from the respective drop down list boxes and enter the IBAN No. (where appropriate) and/or client's account number into the text boxes.

Please note that the validation of the IBAN numbers happens in stages capturing the country format first, then bank and lastly bank branches in accordance with the respective country formats set under Support Files/Nationality.
